New secondary schools, or major extensions to existing secondary schools should be inspiring, innovative and flexibly designed to allow for a diversity of approaches to teaching and learning.
The aim of any major secondary school is to transform the way people learn, by changing the whole idea of “School” from a physical place where young adults are simply taught, to one where a community of people can share learning experiences and activities.
As well as this, each school has its own individual context, ethos and aspirations. Our aim and goal is to ensure, through collaborative workshops and meetings, that our designers respond to the schools particular vision and circumstances, creating inspiring learning spaces that support young people in achieving their full potential.
