Education at this early age has much to contribute in meeting young children’s needs, be they physical, emotional, social or intellectual.
Experience has shown that the planning of the building cannot be separated from that of the play area, garden space and outdoor amenities. The building and it’s surrounding environment are a single unit and it is essential for the work to flow naturally from one area to another. The outside with its opportunity for freedom, exploration and experimentation, should complement the more domestic childlike scale and feeling of the interior.
