The sports pavilion and artificial turf pitch were required to be a combined school/community use facility

DLS: ARCH were appointed by Beard Construction of Guildford to act as design and build architects for a West Sussex County Council project at Durrington High School, Worthing.

The scheme included a 3-storey educational building in the heart of the school and a sports pavilion incorporating changing facilities, a catering facility and an artificial pitch which would be used by the school during the school day during the week and by the local community and hockey club outside of those times.
