Award winning design for two pairs of semi detached houses and a terrace of five two bed houses, in a traditional style, reflecting the local areas, constructed of local materials with a combination of brick and natural stone.

DLS: ARCH worked with Seaward Properties on two pairs of semi-detached houses and a terrace of five, two bed houses, resulting in a development of nine cottages close to Petworth town centre.

Each property had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, study & kitchen/dining room together with a traditional sun-room. An enclosed rear garden with patio, garden shed and rear access were provided along with timber shingled car barns which provided parking for each property.

The scheme won a 2017 “Highly Commended” award at the CPRE Sussex Countryside Award in the “Making Places” section
